Drive
Have you wanted to try out a race-ready go-kart rather than running rental karts? Prodigy Motorsports is the perfect solution. We offer the opportunity to gain on-track experience in our equipment during practice sessions at both Go Pro Motorplex in Mooresville, NC and/or Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC. Without investing in equipment and safety gear. Not only will you have access to our top-of-the-line equipment, but we will also personally be present to provide information and coaching to add to the quality of your experience.
Arrive & Drive Experiences

Novice Track Experience

*Intro to karting – Q&A, track walk if possible

*Size restrictions do apply as the karts will not fit all drivers. When possible, we like to schedule a fitting prior to the experience.

*Experience time is time AT the track, NOT actual driving time.

*Driver must have completed at least one (1) track session with us and be able to run minimum lap times in order to participate in arrive & drive race events.
Sales & Support
Prodigy Motorsports is a go-kart dealer and parts supplier. We are also happy to assist in the purchase of accessories and safety gear. Prodigy Motorsports also offers maintenance, kart prep, storage, transport, set-up, on-track consultation and support, and driver coaching experiences for practice days and race events.
Support Services
Practice Day Consulting & Coaching
Bring your own kart, tires, tools, parts, and other equipment. Prodigy Motorsports will bring one of our karts and do lead/follow coaching on the track to help you learn the line, braking/turning points, drafting, passing, etc. We will also assist with our kart setup and answer any questions you may have. $100 per hour minimum 3 hours.
Race Event Consulting & Coaching:
Bring your own kart, tires, tools, parts, and equipment and pit with Prodigy Motorsports under our tent. We encourage all owners and drivers to be hand-on with us and we will offer guidance on setup, part changes, and basic driver coaching. We’ll also have a laptop to analyze on-track performance if your kart is equipped with a MyChron and/or a Go Pro or Cambox. Starting at $250
Kart Maintenance & Prep:
After any event we will bring your kart to our race shop in order to clean your kart, change oil, change tires, and do whatever is needed to prepare the kart for your next event or you may bring the kart to our race shop for these maintenance and prep services. $85.00 per hour
We also offer storage and transport and can customize any support services to meet your needs. We are happy to discuss all the possible options.
